Forum meeting, 9 september 17:00

We invite you on September 9, starting at 5:00 p.m., to the Forum dedicated to the development of the Universul Center. The event will take place at the Ministry of Culture, 22 Nicolae Iorga Street.

During the Forum, we will discuss:

– the possibility of organizing pilot activities this fall at the “Universul” Center, the conditions under which these can take place, and the support that can be offered to interested initiatives;

– the preparation of a transparent and inclusive process for next spring: the timeline, participation criteria, and the organization of a public call for proposals regarding the use and testing of the spaces;

– how the Forum and the working group will be self-organized, and the mechanisms through which decisions will be discussed, validated, and made during the process;

– the connection between the temporary testing of the spaces and the development of a long-term vision regarding the role, layout, and operation of the “Universul” Center.

The experience gained from the activities organized this fall could help identify the needs and limitations of the space and prepare for the open call in the spring.

We have invited the Minister of Culture and other representatives of the institution and of Universul Publishing House.

We would appreciate it if you could share this announcement with your community.
